The first ever 3x3 basketball Olympic champions and medalists have become known

In Tokyo, the debut Olympic 3x3 basketball tournament, which took place from July 24 to 28, ended, as a result of which the first ever Olympic champions and prize-winners in this young discipline became known.

Among men:

1. The winners of the tournament are the players of the Latvian national team
2. Silver medals went to the team of the Russian Olympic Committee
3. Serbia national team closed the top three

Among women:

1. Athletes from the USA inscribed their names in the history of the Olympics
2. As in the men's tournament, the team of the Russian Olympic Committee finished second
3. The Chinese team won the bronze medal

Further, all basketball fans will see the denouement of the group stage of the 5x5 basketball tournament, which will take place on August 1 among men and on August 2 among women. And the decisive matches of the playoff series for the Olympic gold will be held from 3 to 8 August.
