Sale of tickets for the home matches of the Kazakhstan men's national basketball team against China is open

The men’s national basketball team of Kazakhstan continues to fight for a ticket to the 2023 World Cup. In the 2nd round of qualification, the Steppenwolfs will play a match against the Chinese team.

The match will take place on August 25 in Nur-Sultan, at the arena of the Republican cycle track “Saryarka”, beginning at 20:00 Nur-Sultan time. Tickets available only online at Zakazbiletov.kz.   

We are waiting for all sports fans, connoisseurs of Kazakhstani basketball and fans of the national team at the matches. Do not miss the main event of the basketball season and support the country’s main team.
According to the results of the draw, “Steppe Wolves” were in the 1st round in group “D” along with the teams of Iran, Syria and Bahrain. Our team single-handedly led the group with five wins in six matches:
  • November 26, 2021 - Kazakhstan vs Syria - 84:74
  • November 29, 2021 - Syria vs Kazakhstan - 71:81
  • February 24, 2022 - Iran vs Kazakhstan - 69:73
  • February 27, 2022 - Bahrain vs Kazakhstan - 48:95
  • July 1, 2022 - Kazakhstan vs Iran - 68:60
  • July 4, 2022 - Kazakhstan vs Bahrain - 51:62
In the 2nd round, the Kazakhstan national team will continue to fight in group “F” along with the teams of Australia, China and Japan. Iran and Bahrain went to the 2nd round too, but our team will not meet again with them.

  • November 11, 2022 - Kazakhstan vs Australia
  • November 14, 2022 - Kazakhstan vs Japan

  • February 23, 2023 - China vs Kazakhstan
  • August 25, 2022 - Kazakhstan vs China
  • February 26, 2023 - Australia vs Kazakhstan
The World Cup itself will take place from August 25 to September 10, 2023 in three countries – Japan, Philippines and Indonesia.
