Men's National team of Kazakhstan for 3x3 basketball will compete for a ticket to the Olympics in Tokyo

The men's National Basketball Team of Kazakhstan 3x3 will take part in the FIBA ​​3x3 Olympic Qualification Tournament 2021, which is scheduled to be held from May 26 to May 30 in the Austrian city of Graz.

"Steppen Wolves" will replace the New Zealand national team following the announcement by the National Federation of New Zealand that it will refuse to participate in the FIBA ​​Olympic Qualification Tournament.

To earn a ticket to the 3x3 debut at the Olympics, Kazakhstan will need to finish in the top three among 20 teams. Our guys will start their fight in group "B", and teams from Belgium, Lithuania, South Korea and the USA will compete with them.


Training camps are scheduled in the city of Nur-Sultan from May 16 to 25 in the city of Nur-Sultan. An expanded lineup of the team will be announced shortly.
