Jr. NBA launched an online training program Jr. NBA Coaches Online for coaches

Jr. NBA Junior Basketball League announces the launch of Jr. NBA Coaches Online, an online training program for basketball coaches, which will be held from August 16 to September 27 on the platform of OWQLO mobile application.
 
Jr. NBA Coaches Online - a virtual resource and content platform offering training, learning videos, and clinics to basketball coaches. A unique program, open to all registered users over 16 years of age, which will include a variety of content offerings in the format of live coaching sessions to be conducted by current and former NBA coaches, including Atlanta Hawks Head Coach Lloyd Pierce, Minnesota Timberwolves assistant coach and Jr. NBA Council member Bryan Gates and former Sacramento Kings assistant coach Igor Kokoškov. The sessions will also include a Q&A section, allowing participants to interact with and learn directly from the guest coach.

From August 31, users will also have weekly access to Jr. NBA Top Tips, a host of training videos including all previous NBA global coaching clinic videos and a “Coaches Office” containing useful tools and resources. In addition, fitness and performance coaches Natalie Higby and Cristian Plascencia of The Durable Athlete will provide training on many of the basics that contribute to the development of skills and physical activity, including warm ups and cool downs, workouts and sleep optimization.

All you have to do to become a member of the program is register through the mobile application OWQLO, which is available for iOS and Android in the App Store and Google Play.

As of April 2020, OWQLO has published an interactive "NBA at Home" content series, which includes basketball training and exercises that can be performed individually in a limited space, to help young players around the world remain active and develop their game.

The first Jr NBA Camp Online was completed last week. The Jr NBA Camp Online is a weeklong virtual summer camp attended by over 1,000 people from more than 50 countries, including young basketball players from Kazakhstan. The camp program included morning basketball development sessions and afternoon life skills sessions.
