6 Junior Leagues JR.NBA Kazakhstan appeared on the basketball map of Kazakhstan

The draft ceremonies of the second season of the Junior League Jr. NBA Kazakhstan will be held from 11 to 19 January in six cities of Kazakhstan – Astana, Almaty, Aktau, Atyrau, Kostanay and Shymkent.

Schedule Draft Ceremony:

January 11 – Shymkent, «Nazarbayev Intellectual School», microdistrict Nursat 1A. Beginning at 11:00.
January 12 – Aktau, «Renaissance Aktau Hotel», 9 md 1/1. Beginning at 12:00.
January 12 – Almaty, Jania Aubakirova’s Author’s school, Karasai Batyr 140. Beginning at 12:00.
January 12 – Kostanay, Kostanay Vocational and Technical College, Borodin St. 138/1. Beginning at 15:00.
January 16 – Astana, «Saryarka» Bicycle Track or Nazarbayev University. Beginning at 13:00.
January 19 – Atyrau, FOK «SDYUSSHOR No. 1», 4-microdistrict 4B or Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, Azattyk Ave., 1. Beginning at 12:00.

Recall that in the season 2018/2019 Junior League Jr. NBA Kazakhstan has expanded its borders and will cover six cities of the country - Astana, Almaty, Aktau, Atyrau, Kostanay and Shymkent, which will be divided into six separate leagues. In each city will participate 30 teams – 15 teams of boys and 15 teams of girls.

in Astana – basketball clubs "Astana" and "Astana Tigers", as well as "Nazarbayev University".
in Almaty – basketball club "Almaty", public fund "Give the Ball" and the School named after Jania Aubakirova.
in Aktau – basketball club "Caspiy", public fund "Doma Doma" and hotel "Renaissance Aktau".
in Atyrau – basketball club "Barsy Atyrau" and «Consortium «ISKER» LLP.
in Shymkent –basketball club "Kazygurt", Basketball Federation of Shymkent, Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemical and Biological Direction of Shymkent.
in Kostanay – basketball club "Tobol".

Junior NBA is the official international youth program of the NBA aimed at the development and popularization of basketball among schoolchildren, their parents and coaches, which operates in 50 countries around the world. This project allows children to learn basic skills and basic principles of playing basketball, and promotes common values for the NBF and the NBA – such as team spirit, leadership qualities and a healthy lifestyle, by maintaining a good atmosphere at the games and seminars held under its auspices.

The main feature of Jr. NBA – in this tournament, each children's team corresponds to a real NBA club and goes to the court in licensed equipment of the overseas league with the appropriate symbols. On the one hand, this raises the level of the tournament, on the other – the guys have an additional incentive to be interested in the strongest basketball league in the world, and therefore, in principle, basketball.
