Announcement of Kazakhstan basketball events for March

In the first spring month in Kazakhstan basketball tournaments men's and women's teams have a tight schedule – ten series of the National League and the final round of the First League, two rounds among women's teams of group "B" and the draw of Kazakhstan’s Cup.

National League among men's teams:

On March 1 - 2 two series of matches will be held at the same time – Kostanay’s "Tobol" will host "Barsy Atyrau" on its court, and in the southern capital the local "Almaty Legion" will meet with "Caspiy" from Aktau.
On March 4 - 5 Kostanay will continue to receive guests from Atyrau, but this time the team of "ASU Barsy Atyrau", while "Caspiy" will go to the northern capital where they will hold a series of matches against "Astana".
On March 5 - 6 basketball players of Kokshetau's "Sinegorye" come to visit the "Almaty Legion".
On March 13 - 14 Almaty "legionnaires" will hold the next series of matches on their court, and their guests will be the capital basketball players of "Astana".
On March 15 - 16 in Atyrau a double standoff will take place between the main team of "Barsy" and Kokshetau's "Sinegorye".
On March 17 - 18 Aktau’s "Caspiy" will return a visit to the team "Almaty Legion".
On March 18 - 19 "Sinegorye" will play again in Atyrau, but already against the team of "ASU Barsy Atyrau".
On March 20 - 21 Kostanay’s "Tobol" will host the current champions – "Astana" on its court.
On March 21 - 22 the "Almaty Legion" will hold an away series of matches against "Barsy Atyrau".
On March 25 - 26 a green-white cat derby will take place between "Barsy Atyrau" and their teammates "ASU Barsy Atyrau".

First league among men's teams: the 4th round of the Kazakhstan Championship among men's teams of the First League started on February 26 and have been held in Shchuchinsk at the Sports base "Zhaksy 2", it will last until March 2, and from March 23 to March 27 5th round of the regular championship, the final round of this season, will be at the same place.

Kazakhstan Championship among women's teams of group "A":

On March 5 - 6 Astana will host a series of matches between the main squad of the capital tigresses and their guests from Pavlodar – the "Irtysh".
On March 9 - 10 "Astana Tigers" will once again play at home, but already against the basketball players of Aktau's "Caspiy", and a meeting will take place in Kokshetau between the local "Sinegorye" and Pavlodar’s "Irtysh".
On March 13 - 14 "Caspiy" will continue to stay in the capital and hold a two-match series against "Astana Tigers Youth".

Kazakhstan Cup among women’s teams: the Kazakhstan Cup among women’s teams will hold from 28 to 30 March, the venue will be determined in the near future. The tournament will be attended by teams playing in the National League of last season - "Astana Tigers", "Sinegorye" and "Irtysh", as well as the winners of the NBF Cup, which became "Astana Tigers Youth". The teams will be divided into pairs: "Astana Tigers" - "Astana Tigers Youth" and "Irtysh" - "Sinegorye". The winners of the semi-final will compete for the 1st place and the main trophy of the tournament, and the losers will play the match for 3rd place.

The tour among the women's teams of group "B": the final General tour was played in February, however, the teams of Group B will have to hold two additional rounds in which they will play in two rounds. Both tours will hold from March 12 to March 18 in Shchuchinsk. Recall that following the results of the two final rounds, the team that won first place in Group B receives a ticket to the quarterfinal of the Women's Championship where they will continue to fight for the champion title against the team that finished third in Group A.

Children and youth tournaments:

On March 1-3 3x3 basketball Kazakhstan Winter Championship among boys and girls in three age categories - until 12, 14 and 16 years old will take place in Taldykorgan.
On March 18 - 25 the first in this year Spring Championship of Kazakhstan among young boys was born in 2004–2005 and 2006–2007, will hold in Taldykorgan.
March 29 - April 5 the Spring Championship of Kazakhstan among young boys was born in 2004–2005 and 2006–2007 will hold in Turkistan.

Junior League Jr. NBA Kazakhstan: the regular season of the second season of the Junior League Jr. NBA among boys and girls continues in the six cities of Kazakhstan – Astana, Almaty, Atyrau, Aktau, Kostanay and Shymkent. Matches hold on Saturdays and Sundays at the venues of local educational institutions.
